As a wedding photographer in Helsingør I work from a single ambition: to create wedding photos that tell your story with honesty and warmth. My name is Heidi Maxmiling and for more than 30 years I have worked with portrait and editorial photography for clients such as DR and Aller Media. That experience gives me the calm and confidence to deliver relaxed, documentary wedding photography while also handling more posed portraits when the moment calls for it. My approach to wedding photography is about being present without taking over. I look for the moments that matter: glances, touch, laughter, a brief second of reflection — the small fragments that together become your story. I believe in an honest expression rather than an over-polished aesthetic; the images should work both as beautiful photographs and as authentic memories you will recognise in 10 or 20 years. Before the day we have a conversation about wishes and expectations. I’m happy to advise on locations, styling and mood so the images match you as a couple. If you’d like engagement photos or a trial session before the wedding, I can arrange that — it’s a great way to build confidence in front of the camera and to get natural portraits for invitations or a guest book. On the wedding day I work discreetly and professionally: a mix of documentary scenes and calm, classic portraits. My studio is located in the historic surroundings at Kronborg 2A in Helsingør, but I’m also available to travel across Denmark to capture your day exactly where it belongs.
