As a wedding photographer in Holstebro, I (Jon Kristensen) have made it my core mission to capture the honest moments, moods and small stories that make every wedding unique. I trained as a photographer at Medieskolerne in Viborg and have been self-employed since 2011. My background as a software developer also gives me a calm, methodical approach to planning and post-processing, so you receive technically strong images and a cohesive visual narrative. My approach to wedding photography is documentary and present. I work discreetly to create natural images — from preparations and the intimate moments before the ceremony to the movement and atmosphere of the celebration. The aim is not only beautiful portraits, but wedding photos that bring your memories to life and tell the story of the day just as you experienced it. I offer wedding photography across Denmark and adapt to your wishes and schedule. Before the big day I’m happy to have an informal chat so we can align on style, locations and which moments you’d like prioritised. Many couples also choose an engagement session as a way to get to know me and the camera — this often results in more relaxed portraits on the wedding day. Technically, I work thoroughly with light, composition and post-processing to ensure a consistent look in both colour and black-and-white.
