I am Allan Høgholm — a wedding photographer based in Tilst, working across East Jutland and throughout Denmark. As a specialist in wedding photography I focus on a natural approach: I guide you for a few portraits, but otherwise let the day unfold and capture the unexpected, romantic and intimate moments in a reportage style. My aim is to deliver a varied series of wedding images that tell your story without feeling staged. Portrait and couple photography are an important part of my wedding work. I often look for 3–4 different locations so you get both intimate portraits and surroundings that mean something to you. Together we find places you like — and where possible I’m happy to visit the locations beforehand. That mix of planned portraits and spontaneous reportage produces images with both calm and life. I take reportage photos with discretion: I move around and observe so your guests and the atmosphere are not controlled by the camera. It is often the small scenes — children playing with grandparents, laughter around the tables or a quiet moment between the two of you — that matter most later on. I do not aim to be the centre of attention, but I won’t miss the moments that matter. Before booking, I prefer an initial meeting of about an hour. Here we get to know each other, review the day and decide which images you want. That gives you peace of mind on the day and makes it easier to create natural photos. I always provide a non-binding, tailored quote that can be adjusted to cover everything from preparations to the first dance, or only the ceremony and reception — exactly according to your needs. In addition to wedding photography, I also work professionally with portrait photography and family photography, which often complements the wedding work, for example with engagement or family photos connected to the wedding day.
