My name is Julie, and my photography is guided by a simple philosophy: the best photos come when you can be yourselves. I create a calm and secure atmosphere where play, movement and presence are allowed to produce the natural smiles and moments that make your day unique. My approach is documentary and attentive — I shoot at eye level and prioritise emotions, relationships and atmosphere over heavily posed portraits. That doesn’t mean we never do portraits; I gently guide you with small games and movements so the images we create feel real and effortless. With a background in pedagogy, I have particular experience in creating calm around children and families while still capturing the small, meaningful moments throughout your wedding day. Working with me is personal and down-to-earth. I place great importance on good communication before your wedding so I understand your wishes, the mood you want and any special details you want preserved. On the day I work discreetly but proactively — I’m there to ensure both the big moments and the subtle nuances are captured, without directing the day or intruding on your experience. The result is a collection of images that tells your story in a natural, timeless way. As a wedding photographer in West Zealand (Vestsjælland) I’m used to shooting in a variety of settings — from intimate at-home ceremonies to outdoor weddings in nature. In addition to weddings I offer engagement sessions and family/maternity photography, which often make lovely complements to your wedding story. My primary specialty, however, is delivering authentic wedding images with an emphasis on feeling and connection.
